We are looking for someone with technical skill to assist in producing our pies and pastries. Applicants must be team players and have either a culinary degree or equivalent kitchen experience. Must be focused, hard-working and possess a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

  • Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards
  • Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc.)
  • Assist in the troubleshooting of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary
  • Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality
  • Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)
  • Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.)
  • Complete weekly facility inspections including audit of night cleaning crew
  • Operating company vehicle, light machinery and power equipment.
  • May perform other duties as assigned

  • Prepare batch recipes, cold food items and assist in all kitchen activities to ensure that guests receive high quality food items in a timely manner.
  • Assist in determining the minimum and maximum stocks of all food, material and equipment based on projected business levels
  • Demonstrates a commitment to excellence in the production process.
  • Assist in inspecting the cleanliness of the line floor and all kitchen stations. Maintain and strictly abide by proper storage procedures and state sanitation and health regulations.
